Released on PC via the Epic Games Store last October, publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment and developer Bithell Games have announced that their action-based strategy game John Wick Hex will see releases for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch just in time for Christmas. The title, which was also released on the PlayStation 4 earlier this year, will arrive on the Microsoft Store and Nintendo eShop on December 4 for $19.99 USD.
Featuring an original new story set prior to the events of the John Wick films, John Wick Hex sees John on a desperate mission to rescue Winston and Charon from a dangerous new adversary seeking his birthright. Players must make quick decisions and choose every action and attack they make, all the while considering their immediate cost and consequences.
Featuring a unique blend of strategic time-based action, the title “captures the feel of the tactical combat from the films and blurs the line between the strategy and action video game genres.”
