inXile Entertainment has scored a hit with Wasteland 3 (read our take here), which has now reached 1 million players. That little nugget didn’t go unnoticed by the team, who not only took to Twitter to celebrate the achievement, but also release a short film in celebration of the milestone.
The film in question, 1987, was created early in the game’s development, and served as a “mood piece” to help the team get the look and feel of the game’s post-nuclear winter setting.
Wasteland 3 is available for the PC, the PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One.
