It’s been a few months since Ziggurat Interactive first announced their acquisition of the BloodRayne license, so you know what that means. Today, Ziggurat announced that not only is BloodRayne receiving an enhanced PC version to take advantage of modern hardware, but so is its sequel.

BloodRayne: Terminal Cut and BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut will not only have added support for higher resolutions, upscaled cinematics and more, but the games themselves will be free via Steam and GOG.com for anyone who already owns a Steam/GOG copy of the original BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2.

“The response was tremendous when we announced that we had taken over stewardship of the BloodRayne series,” said Wade Rosen, President of Ziggurat Interactive. “Fans have been asking what’s next for the series, and now we’re excited to show off the great work that’s been done by Terminal Reality on the first two titles.”

  • Improved rendering with up to 4x anti-aliasing
  • Upscaled cinematic videos

  • Improvements to lighting at engine level, plus fully reprocessed lighting data

Face Your Fears in ‘Don’t Be Afraid 2’, Coming to PC and Consoles [Trailer]

Eneida Games and Cat-astrophe Games are following up 2020’s horror adventure title Don’t Be Afraid with the sequel, Don’t Be Afraid 2. The developers have released a new gameplay trailer, delving into the details of the sequel.

Don’t Be Afraid 2 sees you once again in the shoes of David, who is 15 years removed from the events of the first game. For years, David tried to pick up the pieces and deal with the damage the events left on him. Unable to keep a job, find a partner, or even handle simple daily tasks, he leads a pitiful life under the watchful eye of his therapist. Unfortunately, David’s past has caught up to him sooner than he expected, resulting in him now reliving the darkest moments of his life. David must now gather clues about his past and solve puzzles left behind by the deranged murderer toying with his life, trying to find a way out of a mansion where the line between dreams and reality is blurred.

As such, Don’t Be Afraid 2 features two unique endings. Will you escape or succumb to your fears? Can you deal with David’s past or will it break you? You’ll have to struggle your way through the horrors that endure in David’s psyche, navigating a series of sinister escape rooms, and uncover the chilling truth behind the nightmares.

“The original Don’t Be Afraid was much loved by a community, brave horror game fans that accepted the frightening challenge ahead of them,” says Krzysztof Szymański, Narrative Director. “Now, we propose an even scarier, and gut-wrenching experience not for the faint of heart. Will you have what it takes to survive? We can’t wait to see you try!”

Don’t Be Afraid 2 is currently in development for PC via Steam, Playstation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch.
