Upcoming ‘Skyrim’ Mod “Apotheosis” Will Have You Facing Eldritch Horrors in Massive Expansion

Published

on

Thought that you were done with modding Skyrim? The team behind the upcoming Apotheosis mod don’t think so. Unless you’re averse to Eldritch gods being in your game, for some reason.

Taking over four years so far in development, Apotheosis is a massive upcoming DLC expansion mod set across the 16 wastes of Oblivion and the Dreamsleeve, the home of the forgotten dead in the Elder Scrolls universe. The mod team claims that the mod (which is really sounding like an expansion) will be approximately a fifth the size of Skyrim, and include voice acting, an original soundtrack made by multiple composers, new quests, weapons and armour, and more.

Oh yeah, and the mod will have you facing off against Eldritch bosses “with challenging and interesting mechanics.”

The team is still looking for additional help, so if you’re interested, you can hit up the team via their email on the ModDB page, which also includes more development videos.
