Published

Anxious for more details on the upcoming Demon’s Souls remake? Sony has you covered with a detailed look at the game’s character creation editor, as well as the new Photo Mode.

With this new character creator, players will be able to customize their appearance with up to 16 million permutations. Bluepoint has added more customization options than what was originally found in the PlayStation 3 version, and also “worked hard to ensure there is a satisfying variety possible for those who wish to tinker with every slider.”

To complement the expanded character editor is the newly-added Photo Mode, which allows you to immortalize yourself in digital format, as well as “celebrate and commiserate with your friends.” With the mode, you can hide and show weapons and helmets, or even turn off your character entirely. You can also strike a pose or change your expression, as well as change the camera settings, zoom in and out, add film grain, utilize blur effects and a variety of filters.

Demon’s Souls is due out for PlayStation 5 on November 12 in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea, and November 19 in the rest of the world.
