‘Terminator: Resistance’ Receives Upgraded Enhanced Edition For PS5 Next Year

So, that free DLC that Steam users got last month for Terminator: Resistance? Not only is that update coming to the PlayStation 4, but publisher Reef Entertainment and developer Teyon have also announced Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is coming next year to the PlayStation 5!

The title will arrive on March 26, 2021. Users who own the original Terminator: Resistance for PlayStation 4 will receive a free upgrade to Terminator: Resistance Enhanced.

As you might expect, Terminator: Resistance Enhanced takes advantage of the new capabilities of the PlayStation 5 console with improved framerates and graphical fidelity, faster load times, and the new hardware features of the DualSense controller. Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will also contain the brand new “Infiltrator Mode” which sees players get under the skin of the series’ iconic T-800 series Infiltrator.

Two physical editions available for the PlayStation 5 version of Terminator: Resistance Enhanced: a Standard and a Collector’s Edition, the latter of which includes a Steel Book, a two-part hardback comic book “Zero Day” from Dark Horse (which was previously available in digital format with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game), as well as four character art cards and a collectors box.

As a parting bonus, Teyon has also announced that a paid downloadable content expansion with new narrative content will be available in Summer 2021 for the PlayStation 5 and PC versions of the game.

Terminator: Resistance is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
