Official ‘Resident Evil’ Series Website Getting Revamped For 2021
Capcom are apparently gearing up for Resident Evil Village (and perhaps the rumoured Resident Evil 4 remake) next year. In a tweet from the Resident Evil Ambassadors club account, Capcom has announced that the official Resident Evil website will be getting a facelift for the new year.
“At the beginning of 2021, we’ll be launching a new website called ‘Resident Evil Portal’ that will integrate all of our existing Resident Evil services!” explains the tweet. “We are working on many projects to make the site to bring you more of what Resident Evil has to offer. Stay tuned!”
Further details can be gleaned from the email sent from the Resident Evil Ambassadors club, saying that the new site will “be the go-to source for the latest info on the Resident Evil series; it’s a place for players to share their stats with others around the world, an overflowing item box of content for series veterans and rookies.”
Furthermore, the email states that all content that was available on the numerous Resident Evil sites, including the official Biohazard series sites, Biohazard Club 96, Resident Evil Ambassador Program, ResidentEvil.net, and Resident Evil Portal, “will now be consolidated on the new Resident Evil Portal site.”
Of course, we still have to wait for an official release date for Resident Evil Village, which is expected on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in 2021.
At the beginning of 2021, we'll be launching a new website called "RESIDENT EVIL PORTAL" that will integrate all of our existing RE services! We are working on many projects to make the site to bring you more of what RE has to offer. Stay tuned!#REBHFunhttps://t.co/3wM2nNw2sq

Capcom Bumps ‘Onimusha: Way of the Sword’ Up to September 4 Release
Capcom has made the wait for the upcoming Onimusha: Way of the Sword a little easier. Originally set for a September 25 release, the long-awaited return of the franchise has now been bumped up to September 4 for PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series, the Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Pre-orders for Onimusha: Way of the Sword are available now. Players who jump in and secure the Standard, Deluxe, or Premium Deluxe editions before the game’s release will receive Early Adopter Bonuses, including the “Sealed Curse” sword skin and “Lion Dog” charm. You can also check out the demo on all platforms (save for the Switch 2).
Players with save data from the demo can also look forward to claiming a Kubi Akari charm as a special bonus when the full game arrives.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword returns to a dark fantasy feudal Japan where samurai clash with the supernatural in cutting-edge combat. The game takes place in Kyoto during the early Edo period. Fusing history and myth, the story follows the journey of Miyamoto Musashi, a samurai armed with a mystical Oni Gauntlet, as he battles demons invading Edo-period Kyoto. Onimusha: Way of the Sword features intense action that combines the series’ signature Issen and Soul Absorption mechanics with swordplay that aims to take the combat to new heights.
