Yesterday The Predator finally made its way into Fortnite, joining a guest cast of genre characters that begs for more additions. Well, you won’t have to wait very long, as leakers have let the cat out of the bag with The Terminator franchise making a stop during the Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass.
To round things up, rumours of The Terminator’s arrival began when Twitch streamers such as @TheSquattingDog received care packages from Epic Games, which just so happened to contain a pair of sunglasses that were very reminiscent of the T-800’s shades from Terminator 2.

Now, there’s a new portal on the map that shows off an image that eagle-eyed fans of the film will recognize as the Cyberdyne Systems office, also from Terminator 2. Not only that, but the game has also introduced a new lever-action shotgun that has a reload animation mimicking Arnold’s reloading of the gun in the 1991 classic.
And today, there was this little Tweet from the official Fortnite account hinting that Sarah Connor could be the next skin in the game!

Epic eventually announced the crossover in a blog post. Included in the Future War bundle, which costs 2800 V-Bucks, are two “ready-for-battle” outfits for Sarah Connor, the T-800 Endoskeleton Arm Back Bling and Combat Knife item. If you want to play as the T-800 instead, the pack includes the skin, a custom emote and the HK Skynet Uplink Back Bling and Techno-Grip Axe. Both Sarah Connor and the T-800 can be purchased separately for 1800 and 1500 V-Bucks respectively.
