‘Resident Evil Village’ Arrives May 7th; New Trailer and Exclusive PS5 Demo Now Available!

Published

on

Christmas has come early this year, thanks to Capcom. During the Resident Evil Showcase, the developer just announced that Resident Evil Village will arrive for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on May 7, 2021, with pre-orders live right now!

Players can choose from two extra editions: The Trauma Pack, or Collector’s Edition. Both come with a whack of stuff, including a sweet statue of Chris Redfield in the Collector’s Edition.

That’s not all, as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will be getting their own versions of the game on the same day as their successors, with free upgrades to the current gen once they get ahold of the PS5 or Xbox Series.

In addition, PlayStation owners can grab an exclusive demo for the game right now, while other platforms can expect their own demo later this Spring. Known as Maiden, the PS5 demo is a stand-alone sampler of Village’s creepy castle.

And, in a bit of cross-promo goodness, those who own Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 can log in today to get some sweet Resident Evil-themed costumes.

Check out the new trailer plus demo & gameplay footage below!
