[Trailer] Fifth ‘GTFO’ Rundown Update “Rebirth” Available Now; Introduces New Environment, Game Mechanics
The new Rundown update for 10 Chambers’ GTFO is here. Called “Rebirth”, the new update not only adds the usual new goodies in terms of environments, game mechanics and enemies, but also expands the lore of GTFO.
“‘Rebirth’ sets players farther down into The Complex into an area called Floodways — a new environment that substitutes a dark and cold industrial aesthetic for one where nature has sought to reclaim the domain. Further expanding the lore of GTFO, within Floodways are clues as to why players are trapped in The Complex and imprisoned by The Warden.”
The Floodways aren’t the only new addition, as players will now have to contend with the Spawner. Spawners reside on ceilings, and have the unfortunate habit of giving birth to monsters even in rooms you’ve already cleared, making backtracking that much more tense.
Lastly, the big addition to the game are Booster Implants. Collect artifacts during the Rundown and offer them to The Warden for a prize: an injection of a “special” liquid that boosts your abilities. Best of all, the Booster Implants carry over to additional Rundown playthroughs, even if you’re killed.
GTFO is out now in Early Access on Steam.

‘System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary’ Now Available on the Nintendo Switch 2; Free Upgrade Available
Nightdive Studios has given Nintendo Switch 2 fans some love when it comes to System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary. Previously released for the original Switch, players can now grab the Switch 2 version from the Nintendo eShop. Or, if you already own the Switch version, you can grab the Switch 2 version as a free upgrade! There’s even a 40% discount on now until June 23.
Initially launching for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Humble Store on last June, System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster eventually made it to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch the next month. The Switch 2 version of the game offers enhanced resolution, higher fram rate, and support for mouse control.
Set 42 years after the events of the first game, it’s the year 2114.
