[Trailer] Behaviour Interactive Kicks Off Fifth Anniversary Celebration For ‘Dead by Daylight’

Published

on

Hey, it’s Dead by Daylight‘s fifth anniversary, and Behaviour Interactive is in the mood to celebrate. And what better way to celebrate than with a time-limited event that includes the return of Anniversary Crowns, new community challenges and giveaways?

Starting today and lasting until July 15th, Dead by Daylight will be in party mode on PC and consoles. Finding and keeping Anniversary Crowns until the end of the trial grants you that sweet cosmetic, but that’s only the start. During the 5th Anniversary event, Anniversary Crowns will be tracked at a community level with multiple shared goals. If the community meets these goals, they unlock exclusive charms and cosmetics, including outfits for David King and The Wraith.

Alongside the Crowns are the return of confetti-launching Flashlights, Med Kits, and Toolboxes. As well, levels will be decked out in anniversary gear for you to party with as you panic. The Shrine of Secrets will also now be on daily rotation, and feature Perks from almost every single character in the game. Plus, every Perk will be 500 Iridescent Shards off!

Lastly, during the first 7 days of the event, Behaviour Interactive will be giving away a total of 9,000 Iridescent Shards per player, just for logging in. Players logging in later in the event will still be able to claim earlier login rewards, so no one misses out. These will add up to enough to purchase an entire original character.

If that’s not enough, your first log in during the event will net you a 500,000 Bloodpoint gift, so you’ll be able to quickly gain access to the new event items in your Bloodwebs.

Dead by Daylight is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 15 years since Tripwire Interactive graced horror fans with Killing Floor. To mark the occasion, not only has Tripwire made deep discounts for the sequel, but they’ve also dropped the first developer diary for the upcoming third entry in the series, Killing Floor 3.

Originally conceived of by a team of modders, the Killing Floor franchise has entertained (and horrified) more than 30+ million players worldwide, delivering years of guns, gore, and co-op mayhem. As part of the franchise anniversary celebrations, Killing Floor 2 will be free-to-play from May 16-20 on Steam, the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, the Xbox One and Xbox Series, and is on sale on all storefronts, including the Epic Games Store.

Fans can check the official Killing Floor social channels for specifics on these special anniversary, as well as the limited time discounts on Killing Floor 2. All progress made and rewards earned during this free weekend will be carried over to full accounts following purchase, including Perk levels and weapon unlocks.

Meanwhile, the first developer diary for Killing Floor 3 is also available, which “drills into the bloody history and legacy of the franchise, and how the studio is returning to its horror roots with the upcoming sequel.”

Killing Floor 3 is currently in development for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series. No release date has been announced as of yet.
