Published

Nothing’s official just yet, but if this leak is correct, it appears that Techland is finally bringing Dying Light to the Nintendo Switch. According to Polish gaming website PPE, Dying Light: Platinum Edition will be released on the Switch this October for a cool $50.

The information was shared with PPE when a reader going by Graczdari, who works for a retailer with early access to the promotional material, relayed this image:

The Platinum Edition of Dying Light was released this past May for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam, and contains the four main DLCs and 17 skin packs. According to the ad, the Switch version will also include support for HD Rumble, gyro aiming, motion controls, touchscreen, and local/online co-op.

Boxed copies of the Switch game will also include a map, survival guide, and stickers.

Neither Nintendo or Techland have acknowledged the veracity of the image or news as of yet. Meanwhile, Techland is busy prepping the follow-up in Dying Light 2: Stay Human for its December 7 release on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC.

‘Dead Island 2’ Arrives on Steam With Hefty Discount [Trailer]

The wait is over for Steam users looking to stomp around Los Angeles busting zombie heads in Deep Silver and Dambuster’s Dead Island 2. The multimillion-selling follow-up to the 2011 original is now available on Steam, as well as the title’s two DLCs, including the recently-released “SoLA”. Deep Silver has marked the occasion with a new launch trailer.

In fact, Deep Silver has sweetened the deal with a 50% off sale for Dead Island 2 on Steam that’s on until April 29. That sale also applies to the title’s expansion packs and DLCs.

Just in case you missed it the first time around, Dead Island 2 centres around a deadly virus that’s spreading across Los Angeles, turning its inhabitants into ravenous zombies. The city is in quarantine and the military have retreated. Bitten, infected, but more than just immune, you learn to harness the zombie inside of you.

Known as Slayers, you (and if you choose, up to three players in co-op mode) must embark on an epic pulp journey across a plethora of well-known locations such as Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and Santa Monica to uncover the truth behind the outbreak and who or what they are turned into.

Dead Island 2 is also available on PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
