‘Alan Wake Remastered’ Heading to The Nintendo Switch?

Published

on

Switch users might not be left out of Remedy’s upcoming release of Alan Wake Remastered, according to a Brazilian games agency. According to IGN, a Brazilian website known as Switch-Brasil had spotted a ratings filing for Remedy’s upcoming remaster of the 2010 cult classic for the Nintendo Switch.

It should come as no surprise that international ratings boards have leaked previously-unannounced releases before the official word, and this may be no exception. However, when announcing the remaster a few weeks back, Remedy’s Sam Lake made no mention of the game heading to the Switch, so take this with your usual grain of salt.

However, if the remaster is indeed heading to Nintendo’s console, it will be interesting to see how the game is handled. Will it be a full-on release like with the DOOM and DOOM Eternal ports, or will the game be restricted to a cloud streaming service, as in the case with Remedy’s port of Control Ultimate Edition.

Alan Wake Remastered will arrive October 5th for PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
