[Trailer] Udo Kier Joins ‘Martha is Dead’ Cast, New Time-Limited Demo Available Today

Published

Wired Productions and developer LKA are still plugging away at their WWII psychological horror title Martha is Dead, but have announced that as part of  Steam Next Fest, the game will be receiving a demo. Not only that, but we get a new trailer that reveals that Udo Kier will be joining the cast!

The new trailer, entitled “Decifrare il codice” (translated as “crack the code”), centres on Udo Kier’s casting as as Erich, a Wehrmacht general. Kier will be providing the voice for Erich in English, Italian, and his native German.

“The setting has always been an incredibly important part of Martha Is Dead,” explains LKA. “Italy in 1944 was a country paralysed by panic and paranoia. With the Germans occupying the north as the Allies liberated the south, loyalties were strained as the nation quite literally split in two. Udo Kier was a perfect fit for the role of German Officer and father of the twins. It is a real coup for the team to land him.”

Meanwhile, the demo for Martha is Dead will be available today until October 7. The demo will go live at 1pm ET when Steam Next Fest kicks off. Martha is Dead is still aiming for a 2021 release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
