‘Phasmophobia’ Devs Teasing New Ghosts in Future Update
Kinetic Games are rightfully taking advantage of the Halloween season to give fans more scares with the game’s upcoming update. While the game’s Steam page makes no mention of it (yet), Kinetic Games took to Twitter to tease the impending addition of two new ghosts to the game.
As you’ll see from the post, the image lists off some of the traits for one of the upcoming spectres, but of course leaves out choice words to get the speculation going. One of the new ghosts appears to spend more time interacting with the environment than others, but is also quick to become aggressive and attack the player.
Until Kinetic Games gives up the goods on the Halloween update, and just when we’ll be getting it, we’re left to speculate.
Phasmophobia is available via Steam.

Fan-Made Co-Op Mod for ‘Alien: Isolation’ Announced
So in case you were under a rock for the past month, Alien: Isolation 2 is indeed happening. And what better way to get yourself psyched up for the game than to jump into the original game, but with the added benefit of co-op? That’s right, modder Dropper7894 is currently working on a mod for the PC version of Alien: Isolation that allows two friends to soak up the fear. Despite there being no release date just yet, the modder has shared the first gameplay video over on the r/alienisolation subreddit of the mod in action.
According to Dropper7894, they’ve been working on this mod for the past few weeks, with the ultimate goal to turn Survivor Mode into a co-op experience with your friend. For those in need of a refresher, Alien: Isolation‘s Survivor Mode sees you working to escape the small confines of Sevastopol Station while avoiding the relentless Xenomorph and hostile NPCs.
The redditor has created a Discord channel to keep those interested in the mode up to date on the mod’s progress, as well as to answer any questions.
And seeing as it’s the Steam Summer Sale, you can grab Alien: Isolation right now with a generous 70% discount. You can also grab the game on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
Meanwhile, Alien: Isolation 2 is currently in development for Steam, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series, with the Nintendo Switch 2 to follow soon.
