Grasshopper Manufacture’s Let It Die will be receiving a follow-up this spring. Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment and developer Supertrick Games have announced Deathverse: Let It Die for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Like the original, Deathverse will launch as a free-to-play title for Spring 2022.

Set hundreds of years after the events of Let It DieDeathverse: Let It Die introduces players to the world of smash-hit reality show ‘Death Jamboree’. Produced by the enigmatic Yotsuyama Broadcasting Company, the show sees players fight for stardom in a virtual world known as the Deathverse, which was created by the Yotsuyama Group as a final destination for people’s souls.

As participants in the show, players will face off against a multitude of rivals. Upon entering the ‘Death Jamboree’, all contestants are outfitted with a special “Wilson” unit, a robotic device that assists you in combat, and can also be upgraded.

As a primarily battle royale title, you’ll be able to customize your fighter with cosmetics that fit your personality and style via in-game purchases or season passes. More details on the game are expected in the future.
