[Trailer] Cyberpunk Horror RPG ‘Mechajammer’ Arrives on PC Next Month
We could all use more cyberpunk horror these days, and publisher Modern Wolf and developer Whalenought Studios aim to deliver with their upcoming title Mechajammer. The RPG will launch for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on December 2.
Set on an “off-world grindhouse jungle colony”, the story for Mechajammer sees you and your crew of deserters crashing onto a hostile jungle colony. To escape, you’ll need gather rumors, bribe enemies, and earn trust through completing missions.
Mechajammer makes use of “simultaneous turn-based combat to create real-time tactics with the precision of turn-based controls.” Along with the game’s fully customizable character creation system, players will be able to recruit squads made up of mercenaries, gang members and thieves, who can be issued commands “to keep the turn-based combat fast and exciting.”
If you’re a fan of gritty and gory pixellated mayhem, this is one you’ll have to keep an eye on.
If you were wondering just where Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy was all this time, you won’t have to wait much longer. Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Asobo Studio have announced via a new trailer that the game will launch for the Xbox Series, Day One with Xbox Game Pass, as well as PlayStation 5 and Steam on August 27.
Pre-orders are open now, and include the Heritage Pack DLC and an in-game digital artbook.
