[Trailer] Final ‘Blasphemous’ Expansion “Wounds of Eventide” Available Now

Published

on

The Game Kitchen has just released the final expansion for Blasphemous, which is now available for free across PC and consoles. “Wounds of Eventide” offers up new levels, bosses and items for players to devour, along with sowing the seeds for the upcoming 2023 sequel.

The team is reluctant to reveal too much about the expansion for fear of spoilers, but they allude to the fact that late game saves may not be able to see all the “Wounds of Eventide” content. Don’t worry, as you’ll get clues on what to do when you replay the game to get the full experience.

If, for whatever reason you haven’t experienced Blasphemous, check out our review for a primer, then head on over to Steam or GOG to grab it on 09PC, or you can grab it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or the Nintendo Switch.

‘Dead Island 2’ Arrives on Steam With Hefty Discount [Trailer]

The wait is over for Steam users looking to stomp around Los Angeles busting zombie heads in Deep Silver and Dambuster’s Dead Island 2. The multimillion-selling follow-up to the 2011 original is now available on Steam, as well as the title’s two DLCs, including the recently-released “SoLA”. Deep Silver has marked the occasion with a new launch trailer.

In fact, Deep Silver has sweetened the deal with a 50% off sale for Dead Island 2 on Steam that’s on until April 29. That sale also applies to the title’s expansion packs and DLCs.

Just in case you missed it the first time around, Dead Island 2 centres around a deadly virus that’s spreading across Los Angeles, turning its inhabitants into ravenous zombies. The city is in quarantine and the military have retreated. Bitten, infected, but more than just immune, you learn to harness the zombie inside of you.

Known as Slayers, you (and if you choose, up to three players in co-op mode) must embark on an epic pulp journey across a plethora of well-known locations such as Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and Santa Monica to uncover the truth behind the outbreak and who or what they are turned into.

Dead Island 2 is also available on PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
