Cursed Possessions Update For ‘Phasmophobia’ Available Now
After the not-so-subtle teases last week, Kinetic Games has updated Phasmophobia to 0.5.0 with a bunch of new goodies, including a selection of cursed items to use in your ghosthunting activities. Each location in the game will now feature one of the six Cursed Possessions, which all feature a unique benefit, but at a cost.
A Cursed Possession will be randomly chosen at the start of each contract, with several spawn points for each item in the location. Cursed Possessions trade sanity for information, but can also cause an additional negative effect, so act wisely when you use them.
In addition to the Cursed Possessions, some ghost types have received new abilities, passives and other adjustments to make them more in line with the most recently added ghosts. Also, ghosts will now only use their physical form during hunts, instead of shadow or translucent forms, and all ghost abilities have been adjusted to make them happen more often and more consistently.
There are also more changes and fixes in the game, which can be found on the game’s Steam page.
