Epic Games Store Makes 2010s ‘Tomb Raider’ Trilogy Available For Free
How’s this for a free game (or games, for that matter)? Seeing as this year was the 25th anniversary of the Tomb Raider series, Epic has decided to grant not one but three free Tomb Raider games for to cap off their free games blitz. What are those games, you might ask? That would be 2013’s Tomb Raider: Game of The Year Edition, 2015’s Rise of The Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and 2018’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
As always, to get in on the fun, you need to sign up for an Epic Games Store account, head to the Store page, and click on the listings for each game. Luckily, you have until January 6 to snag them.
And, if you want more Tomb Raider goodness, earlier in the year, Crystal Dynamics had been dropping tons of historical notes on the series, including the cancelled horror-centric Tomb Raider: Ascension. Back in November, we even had Neil and Jay talk about the series’ horror leanings with podcaster, author and writer Daryl Baxter.
Meanwhile, for movie fans, the sequel to the 2018 film is currently in development, with Misha Green (Lovecraft Country) set to write and direct the sequel for MGM.

LKA Delves Deeper Into the Horror of ‘When Sirens Fall Silent’ in New Presentation [Video]
During the Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition, publisher Wired Productions and developer LKA released a three-minute developer presentation for psychological horror game When Sirens Fall Silent, offering players a deeper look into the mystery, characters, and unsettling world of the upcoming psychological thriller.
Following two creative story-based cinematic reveals (which you can watch here and here) that introduced the game’s atmosphere, themes, and central mystery, LKA Founder and Director Luca Dalcò guides viewers further into the world of the forgotten people, revealing more of what awaits players as they uncover the truth behind a series of kidnappings and murders.
From the creators of Martha is Dead, When Sirens Fall Silent casts players as Mila, a policewoman in early 1990s Rome, Italy. Haunted by a past she’s desperate to escape, Mila is thrust into a high-profile case of kidnappings and murders. As the investigation unravels, you must not only save her from herself, but also from being consumed by the violence, mystery and confusion.
Featuring a branching, multi-layered narrative dialogue system, with a huge focus on verbal and emotional interaction, investigation and subsequent choices, players will be faced with difficult real-world topics. LKA aims to “pull no punches” with its story, but also hints at a few surprises along the way.
When Sirens Fall Silent is currently in development for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
