New Game+ and More Coming to ‘Dying Light 2’ This Wednesday [Trailer]

The wait is almost over for Dying Light 2 fans looking to get in on that New Game+ goodness. Techland has announced their newest update for the game arrives April 27, and will introduce a New Game+ mode, which includes new encounters, bonuses, and for PS5 and Xbox consoles, an FOV slider.

Update 1.3.0 will also address co-op issues and “delivering completely new endgame content eagerly awaited by the community.” In New Game+, Dying Light 2 players will keep the character progression of their initial adventure, while enjoying many new rewards exclusive to the mode. These include 30 new inhibitors to maximize Aiden’s health and stamina.

Enemies will now scale their challenge to Aiden’s level, but for those seeking more a challenging skirmish, Techland has prepared encounters with golden marks. And for the ultimate challenge, the new quest “Something Big Has Been Here” will yield a tougher than normal challenge, but also a greater reward should you prevail.

Many of these new encounters will reward players with greater “Legendary” weapon rarity and valuable items. But for those who prefer to collect titles over the prizes, Techland added a new platinum medal for parkour challenges, with goal times based on the community’s best results.

You can check out the new features and fixes in the latest episode of “At The Fish Eye” found below.

Dying Light 2 is available now for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, with the Nintendo Switch version coming later this year.
