It’s been a long time coming, but Switch users finally get their chance to blow away legions of zombies in Rebellion’s Zombie Army 4: Dead War, which launches today on the Nintendo Switch. Previously released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam, the Nintendo Switch version of Zombie Army 4 “makes no compromises, featuring the same massive hordes of the undead” while also including all of the Season Pass One DLC.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War on the Switch dynamically changes resolution to ensure a smooth 30fps experience, running up to 1080p when docked and 720p when undocked. The game also includes a number of Switch-specific features and in-game achievements. You’re able to utilize the gyroscope to fine-tune your aim, or use the Pro Controller. Once you complete the base game’s story, players will unlock ‘Nightmare Mode,’ which will increase the challenge even further. Lastly, the Switch version takes advantage of Steam Cross-Save, allowing users to take their Steam saves onto their Nintendo Switch.
In addition to the Season One content being available, Season Pass Two and Season Pass Three are now available to purchase on the Nintendo eShop.
