‘Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2’ Arrives on Steam May 17th [Trailer]

Published

Last August, developer Blini Games revealed the follow-up to 2019’s Lovecraft’s Untold Stories with Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2. Today, after being in Early Access since last October, Blini Games has announced that Untold Stories 2 will arrive on May 17 for PC via Steam.

Picking up where Lovecraft’s Untold Stories ended, players will continue the fight against the unknown with three returning characters, as well as three new ones. The story involves surrealist artist Ardois-Bonnot presenting his painting called Dream Landscape in the Paris Spring Salon of 1926. Of course, once the painting was unveiled, it caused a sudden riot. Not long after the exhibition, Ardois-Bonnot falls into a strange sleep, with no one able to rouse him. It’s up to you to investigate.

Joining the Detective, Witch and Professor this time against the Great Old Ones are the Medium, Veteran and Alienist. As before, each class has their own unique playstyle, and add to that hundreds of different weapons and clothing items for you to use. Or, if you’re feeling ambitious, you can now craft your own items.

You can earn extra resources and items from the numerous side quests available to you, which will help give you the extra bit of advantage you may need to be able to progress in the main story. Untold Stories 2 features randomly-generated maps, along with all of its loot drops. And if you do get killed or choose to restart the level, you only lose progress in the current area. Use this to your advantage in case you didn’t quite get the loot you wanted.
