‘Dead Island 2’ Showcase Set For December 6
So, Dead Island 2 has been delayed again. But despite the setbacks, Dambuster and publisher Deep Silver are making amends with fans by announcing the “Dead Island 2 Showcase – Another Day In HELL-A”, which will air on Tuesday, December 6 at 12:00 PM PST.
According to the press release, the Dead Island 2 showcase will “introduce brand new gameplay content and features through a captivating live action film.” Fans will also see the premiere of a new trailer “containing an extended and exclusive look at the latest and greatest gameplay from the hotly anticipated title.”
Speaking of that “live action film”, Deep Silver has given us a 15 second clip of said film in a new teaser for the showcase, which you can see below. You’ll be able to watch the showcase via the Deep Silver Twitch channel, with a recast being available on Prime Video in the UK and North America starting at midnight local.
The story for Dead Island 2 takes place several months after the events of the first game, with the United States military putting the California under full quarantine. Now a restricted zone, California has become a bloody paradise for those who refuse to leave their homes and an action-packed playground for renegades who seek adventure, glory and a fresh start.
Dead Island 2 will release on April 28, 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store.

‘Texas Chain Saw Massacre’ Announces Level 99 Blackout Cosmetics Including ‘Oil Slick’ Chainsaw
The team over at Gun Interactive has announced today that some fresh cosmetics are coming to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre video game, part of a free collection for Level 99 players.
Gun details, “We are excited to unveil our free Level 99 Blackout cosmetics on April 30th for both Family and Victims! If you’re already at level 99, the Blackout cosmetics will be automatically unlocked for you after the update. Thank you for spending so much time in Muerto County with us!”
Additionally, “For our Leatherface mains, you’ll be able to show off your skills with an all black chainsaw skin called Oil Slick.”

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available on Playstation®4, Playstation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, as well as Game Pass on Xbox and PC.
The game features classic villains from the movies as well as new family members, and the events of the Chain Saw game take place *before* Tobe Hooper’s original classic.
