‘Dead by Daylight Mobile’ Receiving Massive Update Next Month

Published

on

Much like what Behaviour Interactive did a few years back with Dead by Daylight before heading to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, Behaviour Interactive and NetEase Games are in the process of prepping a massive update to Dead by Daylight Mobile. The update will include graphical enhancements, as well as new gameplay and Quality-of-Life improvements. Ahead of the update’s full release next month, you can pre-register for some free in-game items and cosmetics.

The update, which goes live on March 15, brings with it “a ton of graphical improvements”, as well as improvements to the controls, along with several bug fixes and quality-of-life updates. This also includes the addition of the long-awaited pre-game lobby, which will allow Survivors to communicate with each other, and for Killers to make last-minute changes before the Trial begins. Players will also be able to chat in the private and global channels, as well as the in-game lobby after each Trial.

The biggest addition to Dead by Daylight Mobile is the Rift, a season pass that includes unique cosmetics, with each season lasting for two months. Players can progress along the Rift Pass and earn free rewards, such as character customization items and in-game currencies. Players can compete to secure their spot on Seasonal Leaderboards, thanks to a newly updated Ranking System.

And as you’d expect, Dead by Daylight Mobile will also be adding lots of cosmetics, which will include the brand-new Platinum Tier. The Platinum Tier customizations will introduce exclusive Memento Mori animations for the Killers.

Those who pre-register for the update from the link above will receive an exclusive Feng Ming Outfit, the Gamer Expo Streamer. Players will be able to redeem the outfit in-game after the update is released.

Dead by Daylight Mobile is available on Android and iOS devices.

‘Dead by Daylight’ Showcases Bloody Jason Voorhees Skin Ahead of June 16 Release

Published

on

Just in case it wasn’t already clear, Jason Voorhees will be arriving in Dead by Daylight next week. And along with teasing their 10th Anniversary Livestream on June 14, Behaviour Interactive also dropped another teaser, this time for Jason and his never-before-seen Bloody Jason skin. That also includes a Redband variant, just for old time’s sake.

While it’s unclear for now just how players can snag this gory cosmetic, the skin joins the other three previously-revealed skins in the Jason Collection, featuring a range of Outfits that pay homage to his legacy while being reimagined in ways only The Fog could shape. Jason’s default Outfit presents the unmistakable icon from Jason Universe, originally designed by horror legend Greg Nicotero: a 13-holed hockey mask, machete, and weather-beaten clothing worn through countless kills.

Additional outfits include Backwoods Terror, which trades Jason’s jacket for flannel and suspenders, and his machete for a heavy axe. Death Forsaken offers a more grotesque incarnation with decayed features, exposed bone, and a shovel in hand. Lastly, Jason’s Depths of Despair Outfit sees him emerging from the depths; a vision of terror covered head-to-toe in barnacles, coral, and seaweed.

Dead by Daylight: Jason will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch on June 16.
