Ahead of the release of Ghostrunner 2 later this year, developer One More Level is giving fans a chance to check out the game early via a closed beta. The signups for the beta are now open, which you can access here.

In addition to the beta signups, but One More Level and publisher 505 Games have a big news reveal for Ghostrunner 2 fans ahead of Gamescom this year, with the announcement happening on August 21. In the meantime, for those who need a recap of what happened in Ghostrunner, One More Level has released a new video. Do note that the video below does contain spoilers.

Set one year after the original critically acclaimed Ghostrunner when cyber ninja protagonist Jack escaped Dharma Tower, Ghostrunner 2 explores the wasteland beyond. Featuring intense fast-paced-push-forward combat and its signature challenging gameplay, the sequel ups the ante from the original by introducing vehicular combat as Jack takes to the wastelands on his new motorcycle.

Along with the new motorcycle comes new powers, upgradeable abilities and traversal mechanics. Enemies in Ghostrunner 2 behave uniquely dependent on the skills used against them, providing a fresh challenge with each encounter. The player progression system has been completely redone, providing opportunities to experiment and customize gameplay.

Ghostrunner 2 is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in 2023.
