Horror-Themed Pinball Game ‘Pinball M’ Announced for 2024, Will Include Licensed Tables Such as ‘Child’s Play’ and ‘Dead by Daylight’ [Trailer]

If you’ve already mastered Devil’s Crush and the more recent Demon’s Tilt, and are looking for your next challenge with a horror-based pinball video game, Zen Studios are ready to capitalize on that with their newly-announced title, Pinball M. Revealed at the recent MIX Next Online Showcase, the game is currently in development for the PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Pinball M will launch with five tables inspired by several IPs, including a Child’s Play-inspired Chucky’s Killer Pinball, Dead by Daylight Pinball in collaboration with Behaviour Interactive, and Zen’s own Lovecraft-inspired Wrath of the Elder Gods Director’s Cut. The other two tables will be announced at a later date. The game will be a free platform download, with tables available as in-game purchases.

Each table is “fully loaded with gameplay designed to keep players on the edge of their seats”, featuring assets inspired by their source material to complete the experience.

As a unique addition, Pinball M will have a Play Corner feature in the table menu that’s designed to immerse players in a 3D environment that’s themed to match each table’s design, with several customization options. Players will even be able to craft their own personal corner of horrors in the game with decorative elements which can be earned through gameplay.

“We are thrilled to bring this new pinball platform to our players with a killer lineup of new licensed tables,” said Mel Kirk, COO of Zen Studios. “Over the years, there have been many mature themes that we’ve wanted to explore on our pinball tables. Pinball M allows Zen to fully embrace M-rated source material and create authentic pinball experiences based on our favorite horror and irreverent themes.”

Upcoming “Unholy Alliance” Update for ‘Cult of the Lamb’ Adds Local Co-op and More [Teaser]

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
