Go Behind the Scenes of the ‘Killing Floor 3’ Gamescom Trailer With the Latest Video From Tripwire [Watch]

Published

As a follow-up to the surprise trailer for Killing Floor 3 a few weeks back at Gamescom 2023, Tripwire Interactive has released a new video that delves into the behind-the-scenes production of that trailer. Titled ‘Making a Monster’, the new video takes a look at the “artistry, craftsmanship, and passion” poured into the trailer, including the design and development of the iconic Fleshpound, one of the many Zeds players will face when Killing Floor 3 launches worldwide.

Bryan Wynia, Creative Director at Tripwire Interactive, is joined by Neil Huxley and Milan Nikolic from Hydra Studios to discuss detailing the body horror inspirations, creative process and production of the Killing Floor 3 reveal trailer.

The next installment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series, Killing Floor 3 takes place 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2. Megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now, the only thing standing between these infernal creations and the future of humanity is the rebel rogue group known as Nightfall. The sequel puts players in the role of a Nightfall specialist, joining forces with up to five teammates as they battle through a war-ravaged, dystopian future, surviving unrelenting waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.

Killing Floor 3 is currently in development for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series.

Upcoming “Unholy Alliance” Update for ‘Cult of the Lamb’ Adds Local Co-op and More [Teaser]

Published

on

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
