UPDATE: We’ve added the YouTube link to the second episode below.

A year after releasing the first episode, filmmaker Shaun Meyer has announced that Episode 2 of CARRIER: A Raccoon City Story will be premiering this Friday. Entitled “Right Place, Wrong Time”, the episode will stream on September 29th over at Biohazard Declassified at 5pm EST/10pm GMT, and will be available on YouTube at 6pm EST on the same date.

Episode 2 picks up after the events of the first episode, with Detective Sam Othic and new characters dealing with the fallout of a deadly explosion that occurred at an Umbrella-owned research facility in downtown Raccoon City during the late night hours. The who and why are a mystery and Sam is hellbent on figuring out why.

Episode 2 introduces more characters, with original Resident Evil cutscene actor Charlie Kraslavsky portraying Raccoon City Mayor Michael Warren, and Pablo Kuntz, the original voice actor for Albert Wesker in the 1996 game, reprising his role for Episode 2, which gives a backstory as to what Wesker was up to before transferring to Raccoon City.

Described as “a detective story told through the lens of comic book cutscenes from Max Payne”, CARRIER: A Raccoon City Story is a fan-made prequel webseries to the first Resident Evil game, and stars Noah Goldberg, Pablo Kolache, and Trent Hall. The series follows Raccoon City Police Detective Sam Othic as he investigates a series of deadly incidents coasting on the rise of aggressive criminal activity that has begun to plague the city during the winter of 1995. The series precedes the first Resident Evil game, along with the eventual destruction of Raccoon City in 1998.

You can check out the previous episode from CARRIER’s YouTube page.

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
