Ingeon Games’ turn-based survival game Terminus: Zombie Survivors isn’t leaving Layers of Fear and Amnesia: The Bunker to have all of the fun this week when it comes to Halloween updates. The Early Access title will have its major “Water & Cook Update” arriving on October 26, introducing “an array of exciting features, including a crucial thirst system, an extensive collection of cooking recipes, expanded locations, and much more.”

The new thirst system underscores the importance of water in survival, challenging players to find, purify, and manage their water supply to stay alive. In addition, the new update significantly enhances the culinary aspect of the game, giving players the opportunity to prepare 50 unique recipes that range from everyday meals like ramen and sandwiches to specialized recipes that are in tune with the survival aspect of Terminus.

Terminus will also be getting new areas to explore, such as the dock and pond, each offering unique resources and challenges. The update also revamps the fishing mechanics with the inclusion of both fish traps and fishing rods, allowing players various ways to gather resources and sustain their journey.

And for you achievement hounds, the update will add 36 new achievements for you to earn, along with a variety of new difficulty levels, ranging from Easy to Apocalypse. If that wasn’t enough, the update introduces a new potential escape route via boat, giving players new strategies to survive the challenges of the zombie-infested world of Terminus.

Terminus: Zombie Survivors is currently available on Steam.

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
