Deluxe Edition of ‘Trepang2’ Now Available on Steam [Trailer]

Published

Hot on the heels of the PlayStation and Xbox releases, Trepang Studios and Team17 Digital have given PC gamers another reason to pick up their F.E.A.R.-inspired FPS Trepang2 with the announcement of the Deluxe Edition of the game now available on Steam. The Deluxe Edition (which is also available on consoles) of Trepang2 brings with it a DLC season pass, giving players access to the recently released Survival Mode DLC, and an upcoming DLC planned for release in early 2024.

Coinciding with the updated Steam release, players who have yet to pick up Trepang Studios’ stylish shooter can pick up the base game, Deluxe Edition, and Banger Edition for 33% off from today until 20th November.

If you haven’t checked out Reyna’s take on Trepang2 (or it’s just flown under your radar), the game is described as a spiritual successor to the fast-paced and over-the-top first-person shooters of the mid-2000s (namely Monolith’s classic F.E.A.R.). Trepang2 “pairs high-octane, first-person gun-fu gameplay with a devastating heavy metal soundtrack”. Stepping into the boots of a newly enhanced super soldier broken out from a government black site, you’ll embark on a supernatural journey of death, destruction, and corporate conspiracies.

You can snag Trepang2 and its Deluxe Edition variant on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series.

Upcoming “Unholy Alliance” Update for ‘Cult of the Lamb’ Adds Local Co-op and More [Teaser]

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
