‘Dying Light 2’ Gets Medieval With ‘For Honor’ Crossover [Trailer]

Published

Techland is keeping on with the Dying Light 2 crossovers, this time joining forces with Ubisoft to bring the latter’s For Honor into Techland’s open-world zombie epic. As part of the 2-week For Honor Event that’s on now until December 5, players will be able to come across the Kensei, Wardens, and Berserkers for them to defeat for hefty rewards.

For starters, fulfilling the Participation Goal amounts to 5 Rage Boosters. The Warm-up Goal, on the other hand, grants the player Berserker’s Hand Axe weapon and blueprint. Achieving the Personal Goal yields the Berserker Outfit and Viking Faction Paraglider. And if the players come together to reach the Global Goal, everyone will get Warlord’s Shield weapon charm.

Apart from the event, Dying Light 2 players can also snag 3 For Honor bundles. All of the elements for all of the bundles can be collected by fulfilling the goals of the event, but they can also be bought from the in-game shop. Along with the Berseker Bundle detailed above, the Warden Bundle consists of Warden Longsword weapon and blueprint, Warden Outfit, Knight Faction Paraglider, and Footman’s Flail weapon charm. Meanwhile, the Kensei Bundle is made up of the signature Kensei’s Nodachi weapon and blueprint, Kensei Outfit, Samurai Faction Paraglider, and Hitokiri’s Mask Charm. Each of the bundles will be available in the store for 500 DL Points.

Dying Light 2 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Survios Announces VR Title ‘Alien: Rogue Incursion’, Coming This Year [Trailer]

Remember back in 2022 when developer Survios had announced that they were teaming up with 20th Century Games to develop a new Alien title? Well seeing as it’s Alien Day, Survios has announced their brand-new VR title, Alien: Rogue Incursion. Coming “Holiday 2024” to the PlayStation VR2, SteamVR, and Quest 3, Rogue Incursion will feature an original story that “fully surrounds players within the terrors of the Alien universe”.

Details on the game are light at the moment, but the official site describes the upcoming title as being “designed by Alien fans for Alien fans”, with Survios aiming to craft a “technically advanced, and frightfully immersive Alien virtual reality game.”

Seeing as Alien: Isolation never got official VR support when it was released, this is obviously a welcome announcement. In the meantime, if you’re keen to experience an Alien game in VR, you can always check out the fan-made mod for Alien: Isolation by Nibre_, which allows both the Steam and Epic Games Store version of Alien: Isolation to be played using the Oculus.

And speaking of Alien: Isolation, as you might expect, it’s got a hefty 80% discount going on at the moment on Steam until May 1. So if you still haven’t grabbed it after all these years, this is as good a time as any.
