Behaviour Interactive are getting into the season once again with the Bone Chill Event 2023 for Dead by Daylight. The limited-time event brings snow, seasonal costumes and more on December 14th 11AM ET, and lasts until January 4th 11 AM ET.

The Mount Ormond Resort map will once again get a festive makeover, along with the return of the Snowmen. Survivors and Killers alike can also partake in Snowskull fights. Piles will spawn throughout the Trial, and pick one up to interact with it. You can carry up to 6 Snowskulls at a time, and throw them at your leisure.

Throwing Snowskulls isn’t just a frivolous thing, as hitting people with them is part of the new Event Tome Challenges. As you might expect, the more Challenges you do, the more Event Currency you earn, which can then be spent on whichever Outfits or Charms you so choose.

Speaking of which, you can use your well-earned Event Currency to unlock Outfits for The Wraith and Jeff Johanssen, Ugly Sweaters for Gabriel Soma, Renato Lyra, and Thalita Lyra, Killer Weapons for The Hillbilly, The Clown, and The Trapper, Frosty Eyes for the Skull Merchant and The Singularity, holiday-themed Charms, and several Player Card customizations. As an added bonus, you ‘ll even unlock rewards for unlocking rewards.

You can also earn Bloodpoints, Iridescent Shards, and Rift Fragments by simply logging into Dead by Daylight daily throughout the month. In total, you’ll be able to earn 1 million Bloodpoints and 3K Iridescent Shards. Behaviour Interactive even has a promo code (THANKYOUFOR60M) to net you an additional 1 million Bloodpoints and 6K Iridescent Shards during the Bone Chill Event 2023.

And of course, recently-added Killer Chucky gets his own ugly Christmas sweater.

Dead by Daylight is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Windows Store.

Endless Mode Available Now in New Update for ‘Life Eater’

Published

on

Fans of Strange Scaffold and publisher Frosty Pop’s apocalyptic Life Eater have another reason to keep coming back to the game, as the much-anticipated Endless Mode is available now. Best of all, it’s a free update!

The new endless mode gives Life Eater players an arena to determine how long they can evade capture while delaying the end of the world. Collect score points called ZEAL by building an airtight procedure around your sacrifices, investigate the lives of countless procedurally generated kidnapping targets, and survive as long as possible in your personal gauntlet of nightmares.

“We’re so excited to expand the playtime of Life Eater with a uniquely dark and intriguing systemic experience,” says Strange Scaffold founder Xalavier Nelson Jr. “You really just terrorize an entire city of people over the span of decades, now, and I can only hope that I don’t come to regret writing that sentence in a press release.”

For those not in the know, Life Eater (check out Aaron’s review here) is a horror fantasy kidnapping simulator where you play as a druid living in suburbia. You serve a dark entity by abducting and sacrificing specific but vaguely described humans every year to stop the apocalypse. Use a unique video editing-inspired interface to discover the intimate lives of your victims, one schedule block at a time. When the time is right, abduct them before authorities find out.

You can snag a copy of Life Eater on Steam.
