Two weeks after Resident Evil 4 got its VR mode update, Capcom has another holiday treat for fans with the release of the Apple version of the game for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad and Mac. And if you’re on the fence about plunking down your money for the game, you can also try a portion of Resident Evil 4 with a free download before accessing the full game.

Resident Evil 4 is also debuting on the Apple App Store with a cool launch discount. The game is currently 50% off ($29.99 USD) until Jan. 17, 2024. Those players who pick up the title before that date will also receive a collection of in-game items as a special bonus. The bonus includes the following items: “Attaché Case: Gold,” “Attaché Case: Classic,” “Special Charm: Green Herb,” and “Special Charm: Handgun Ammo,” all of which offer unique abilities when equipped.

Resident Evil 4 includes support for Universal Purchase and cross-progression between iPhone, iPad, and Mac, enabling players to enjoy the game at home or on-the-go and continue their save games across devices.

And if you’re wondering about the Separate Ways” DLC for Apple devices, you’re in luck. The story DLC, which follows Ada Wong on a secret mission that intertwines with Leon S. Kennedy’s rescue operation, is also available for purchase today via the App Store.

Resident Evil 4 (and the “Separate Ways” DLC) is out now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series.

Upcoming “Unholy Alliance” Update for ‘Cult of the Lamb’ Adds Local Co-op and More [Teaser]

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
