PAX East just got even more exciting this year with the announcement that IllFonic will be bringing Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game to the convention with a “hands-on experience”. Attendees can not only try out the game from March 21 to Sunday, March 24, but can will also be treated to an in-depth discussion with the developers and the Killer Klown creators themselves, the Chiodo Bros.!

The panel, located in the Albatross Theater (room 210), will kick off on Saturday, March 23, at 1 PM EST. The discussion will feature members of the team at IllFonic, as well as Edward, Stephen and Charles Chiodo on bringing the classic IP into the gaming space. If fans cannot make the panel, you can always try to play with a Chiodo brother (or three) in the Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game booth on the convention floor throughout the show.

Based on MGM’s iconic 80’s movie, the 3v7 multiplayer game brings back the unique, over-the-top mix of horror and comedy from the 1998 film. In the battle between Killer Klowns and the citizens of Crescent Cove, you can either team up and harvest humans, or survive and escape from an alien invasion!

The hands-on experience will feature the Crescent Cove map, a sprawling arena for these unique multiplier fights between Klowns and humans, boasting various locations and various tactical opportunities for both teams.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game arrives June 4 for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are open now. Here’s a rundown of all of the bonuses as well as the Deluxe Edition of the game.

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
