Gunfire Games has announced the second premium DLC for REMNANT II in “The Forgotten Kingdom”, which will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series on April 23. This will be the second of three DLC in the previously-announced DLC Bundle for the dark fantasy Action-RPG.

Fans can purchase the DLC Bundle for $24.99 on April 23 to get the previously-released “The Awakened King” DLC, The Forgotten Kingdom DLC, and have access to the final DLC once it’s available later this year. Those who purchased the Ultimate Edition of Remnant II have access to all DLCs at no additional cost

In “The Forgotten Kingdom”, players will piece together the forgotten history of the lost tribe of Yaesha as they attempt to quell the vengeful wrath of an ancient stone spirit called Lydusa. Players will navigate the lingering traces of torment, treachery, and death that haunt the land’s ziggurats, as Lydusa’s living stones wander the crumbling remnants of an ancient civilization in search of fresh blood. This new storyline has you uncovering the secrets of the lost tribe by exploring a mysterious new area within the world of Yaesha, complete with new dungeons, new gear—including a new Archetype, “The Invoker”— and new unexpected allies.

Remnant II is out now on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series. Crossplay is also available across PC and consoles.

Upcoming “Unholy Alliance” Update for ‘Cult of the Lamb’ Adds Local Co-op and More [Teaser]

Published

on

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
