PlayStation 5 Version of ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2’ Coming June 20

Published

After arriving on PlayStation VR2 last December, Steel Wool Studios has now announced a non-VR version of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 will be coming to the PlayStation 5 on June 20. This version of Help Wanted 2 “seamlessly transitions the terrifying gameplay experienced in the PS VR2 game onto the flat screen utilized by the power of the PlayStation 5.”

Taking place between the events of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach and its story DLC, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 has you as the new hire, where you’ll have to prove you have what it takes to work in all aspects of Pizzeria management and maintenance. Your job comes down to a series of tasks, with the most important being able to punch out from your shift alive.

Help Wanted 2 contains several minigames across the Pizzaplex, which have been adapted from the original VR controls. For example, Captain Foxy’s Log Ride now operates as an FPS as you float through the old West as a gunslinger.

And for those who purchased the VR2 version, you’ll be getting the “flat screen” version for free.

And for those keeping tabs on the sequel to the 2023 film adaptation directed by Emma Tammi, things are humming along with pre-production, with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop returning to provide the animatronic monstrosities again.

Upcoming “Unholy Alliance” Update for ‘Cult of the Lamb’ Adds Local Co-op and More [Teaser]

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
