With V Rising out now in full on PC via Steam, PlayStation owners won’t have to wait long to get their fix. Developer Stunlock Studios has announced that the long-awaited PlayStation 5 version of the hit survival RPG will arrive on June 11th. In fact, pre-orders are now available on the PlayStation Store, which also includes the option of snagging the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack.

Players can also opt to get the whole shebang with the Complete Edition, which includes the base game, the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack, as well as the Sinister Evolution Pack, Dracula’s Relics Pack and Eldest Bloodline Pack. Those who do pre-order can actually get early access to V Rising on June 6.

Teaming with Sony and with additional support from Auroch Digital, Stunlock Studios has focused on creating optimal PlayStation 5 gameplay with UI improvements for V Rising, as well as DualSense game controller support.

V Rising centres on you, a simple vampire, who has just awakened and is in need of some conquesting. You start out hunting for blood in nearby settlements to regain your strength and quench your thirst. From there, you’ll be able to build and customize your castle, invite friends to join your clan, and convert humans to vampires to grow your empire, ultimately challenging the tyrant Dracula himself for world domination. You’ll also be engaging in real-time combat and compete for world domination with PvP and PvE challenges.

Meanwhile for Steam users, if you’re quick, you can snag V Rising with a 10% discount until May 22nd.

Upcoming “Unholy Alliance” Update for ‘Cult of the Lamb’ Adds Local Co-op and More [Teaser]

Published

Cult of the Lamb players will be getting more free goodies later this summer with the Unholy Alliance update. Coming August 12, the update introduces a brand new playable character in the Goat, which coincides with the game allowing local co-op.

With the Unholy Alliance update, the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Players will also be able to enjoy special 2-player versions of existing mini-games, such as Fishing and Knucklebones, as well as choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your cooperative crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can also swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back to back, and even deliver a critical hit when their attacks are in sync. Good news for those who prefer to stay alone in their corner: they will be able to benefit from various new powers.

In addition to the addition of cooperative play, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits and quests, as well as the addition of new secrets to discover.

More information on the update will be released as the launch date creeps closer. Cult of The Lamb is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
