The wait for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is almost over, and GSC Game World as a result is ramping up the buzz with a new trailer for the open world shooter. Dubbed “The Time of Opportunities”, the new trailer (voiced entirely in Ukrainian) features plenty of eye candy with the game’s diverse locations, as well as encounters with mutants and arch-anomalies.
As players step into the shoes of a lone stalker named Skif, they must navigate a perilous and enigmatic environment teeming with dangerous mutants, hazardous radiation, and treacherous human factions. Players will also see hubs where they can rest and prepare for their next intense mission. The in-game footage is interspersed with narrative bits, highlighting the importance of the non-linear storyline in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
The press release also mentions that additional announcements regarding S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be revealed throughout the summer.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be available for the Xbox Series, the Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 5. Pre-orders are available via the official site.
