The next update for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is headed our way on Thursday, August 15, and it includes a new map variant and a big change to the private match option.
For starters, “Family House – Blood Moon (seen above) will be dropping for a limited time. This map variant will show up in rotation as Family House – Dawn, meaning that this variant will be a surprise when you load into the match.”
Additionally, “Players will be able to download FREE chainsaw skins with Danny Outfit Pack II also available for $4.99 USD.”
And perhaps most notably for this update, “Private Matches can be now be launched with only 1 person.” This means you’ll be able to launch into a match entirely by yourself, allowing you to snap some cool photos and explore/master the maps like you’ve never been able to before. There are no bots, mind you, so don’t expect a full single-player experience at this time.
