After securing publishing rights and announcing a current-gen release earlier this year, IllFonic has announced an October 1 release for Predator: Hunting Grounds on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Not only that, but PlayStation owners will be getting a physical release of the game, courtesy of Skybound Entertainment, on November 12. Pre-orders for the physical edition will begin on September 24 (that’s tomorrow).
Predator: Hunting Grounds will offer fans three options from the PlayStation and Microsoft storefronts: the $19.99 USD Standard Edition, the MSRP $34.99 Jungle Edition, and a MSRP $69.99 Yautja Edition. Here’s the breakdown for each:
- Standard Edition includes the base game with bonus – the feared Feral Predator equipped with his Crossbolt Gun, Combistick, and Shield.
- Jungle Edition will provide fans with the above and many fan-favorite Predators: City Hunter (’97), Samurai, Valkyrie, and Viking, all equipped with custom weaponry.
- Yautja Edition is the ultimate fan pack. This edition will unlock the base game, the Feral Predator, and almost all DLC Predators – Bionic Predator, City Hunter (’97), Cleopatra, Emissary, Exiled, Samurai, Valkyrie, Viking, Wolf, Hunting Party (Captured, Falconer and Mr. Black Predators,) Hunting Party 2 (Amazon and Pirate Predators), Hunting Party 3 (Celtic, Chopper, and Scar Predators) all equipped with custom weaponry.
As mentioned back in March, IllFonic plans on releasing additional content later this year for Predator: Hunting Grounds after the PS5 and Xbox Series release, with additional Predators coming later this Winter, while additional Predators are expected in Spring 2025.
In addition to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, Predator: Hunting Grounds is also available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
