‘Don’t Be Afraid 2’ Launching Later This Month [Trailer]
It’s been a long six months since we last heard from Eneida Games and Cat-astrophe Games regarding Don’t Be Afraid 2. That’s quickly changed with the teams announcing that the follow-up to the original 2020 adventure horror title will be coming out later this month on PC. No mention of a console release just yet, nor has an exact release date been revealed. However, we’re getting a new gameplay trailer to tide us over.
Don’t Be Afraid 2 sees you once again playing as David, who for years has tried to pick up the pieces and deal with the damage from the events left on him from the first game. Unable to keep a job, find a partner, or even handle simple daily tasks, he leads a pitiful life under the watchful eye of his therapist. Unfortunately, David’s past has caught up to him sooner than he expected, resulting in him now reliving the darkest moments of his life. David must now gather clues about his past and solve puzzles left behind by the deranged murderer toying with his life, trying to find a way out of a mansion where the line between dreams and reality is blurred.
Don’t Be Afraid 2 is currently in development for PC via Steam, Playstation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch.

Survival Horror Callback Title ‘Flesh Made Fear’ Comes to PS5 on June 25 [Trailer]
After launching last October on Steam, Assemble Entertainment and developer Tainted Pact are bringing their old-school survival horror game Flesh Made Fear to the PlayStation 5 next week on June 25.
Conceived by Michael Cosio, who also created Massacre at the Mirage, Terror at Oakheart and Suffer the Night (and is currently working on The Skin Stapler), Flesh Made Fear draws inspiration from the fixed-camera tension, puzzle-driven pacing, and scarce resources of classic Resident Evil games, while adding its own blend of body horror, conspiracy, and occult terror.
Players take on the role of an elite operative in the Reaper Intervention Platoon (R.I.P.), a covert task force deployed to neutralize Victor “The Dripper” Ripper—a brilliant but deranged former CIA agent. His sinister experiments have turned a desolate backwater town into a nightmare filled with grotesque monsters and mind-controlled thralls. Your mission is clear: eliminate Ripper, unravel his chilling secrets, and survive the horrors lurking in his mansion-turned-laboratory.
You can tackle the nightmare of The Dripper as one of two survivors, each with their own abilities and personal journey. Jack (greater health, smaller inventory) relies on grit and clever instincts to endure the horrors closing in around him, while Natalie (less health, larger inventory) meets the madness head-on with sharp resolve, quick wit, and relentless stamina. Both characters offers unique stats and storylines, enhancing replayability.
Vulnerability is the name of the game in Flesh Made Fear. By reintroducing mechanics like limited saves, a mix of fixed and dynamic camera angles, and restricted resources, the game forces players into a constant state of tension. Every decision – whether to fight, flee, or conserve ammunition – carries weight. This careful design, paired with grotesque visuals and a conspiratorial story, aims to deliver “an authentic yet modernized survival horror experience.”
