Psychological Horror Adventure Game ‘10 Dead Doves’ Comes to Steam December 13th [Trailer]

After launching its Kickstarter two years ago (and earning more than double the $10,000 goal), indie developer Duonix Studios has announced that its single-player narrative horror game 10 Dead Doves will arrive on Steam on Friday (December) the 13th. A demo is also available on Steam.

10 Dead Doves takes place in the year is 2004, where players take on the role of the “Most Pathetic Man on Earth”, Marcus Stetson, a seasoned backpacker hiking the Appalachian Trail. Mark has pooled his resources together with his friend, Sean, to relive their glory days, embarking on one last mission to find the truth behind the holy grail of urban legends: a mysterious, mythical place known in whispers as the Ant Farm.

As the duo embark on their journey, Mark receives a series of cryptic dream messages from a haunting, bird-like figure named The Wren. Not only that, but the birds are dropping dead for no unexplainable reason…

Featuring narrative driven gameplay that’s “full of mystery, heart and mortal terror,” this ‘Dovecraftian’ adventure sports a psychological horror campaign with a 2000s-inspired art style in its graphics. Along with encountering puzzles, mysteries, the secrets of Appalachia, there are multiple game endings for you to discover to reveal the urban legend of the Ant Farm.
