Anxiety-Horror Thriller ‘No, I’m not a Human’ Coming to Steam This Fall [Trailer]

Published

on

Fresh from the success of last year’s Mouthwashing, publisher Critical Reflex has teamed with developer Trioskaz for a new “End of Times” paranoia-fuelled title in No, I’m not a Human. Coming this fall to Steam, the game is in development for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. There will also be an updated demo coming soon to Steam.

In No, I’m not a Human, the world is ending. Acrid aromas of sun-scorched streets fill the air. Blackened corpses gnarled into shapes of agony line streets. Peering outside is enough to scorch your eyes from their sockets. The only refuge is in the night. However, the night belongs to the Visitors.

A knock on the door. A solitary voice, begging for refuge. They look like us. Talk like us. Smell like us. But are they us? Isolation will not save you. Let some in. Hear their stories. Some will help, some will need help. Some are Visitors. The Visitors kill. You must kill them first. Interrogate the guests. Do what must be done.

As for the demo, according to the news update from Trioskaz, you’ll be getting your chance to try out No, I’m not a Human later this summer during Steam Next Fest. The upcoming No, I’m Not a Human demo will take you through 4 to 5 in-game days, with plenty to experience and do.

‘The Sinking City 2’ Rises to August 18 Release Date; Demo Shadow Dropped [Trailer]

Published

on

After teasing fans last month, Frogwares has announced an August 18 release date for The Sinking City 2. Announced during the Future Games Show, the developer also shadow dropped a new demo, along with a new trailer, appropriately titled “Welcome to Arkham.”

As for the demo, players will get to experience the opening hour of the full game and offers an early look at Frogwares’ take on survival horror. It also provides the first opportunity to properly meet the new protagonist, occult adventurer Calvin Rafferty, and begin uncovering the reasons behind his tragic and arduous journey into the flooded and Eldritch monster-infested city of Arkham.

Set in a Lovecraftian vision of 1920s America, in the infamous city of Arkham, a supernatural flood has driven out all but the most deranged residents, leaving decay and eldritch horrors that roam the streets. Players step into the role of Calvin Rafferty, an occult adventurer whose cavalier actions have led to devastating consequences. After a dreaming ritual goes wrong, his girlfriend, Faye, is left trapped in a mysterious sleep. Now Calvin must navigate the drowned streets of a derelict city in a desperate attempt to bring her back. On his quest, he’ll come face to face with a plague of otherworldly creatures, the Slither, who possess and twist the dead into lethal, walking puppets.

The Sinking City 2 is currently in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. And while you wait for that demo to download, check out Harrison’s preview.
