‘Cronos: The New Dawn’ Receiving Physical Version From Skybound Games
Bloober Team still aren’t done with news surrounding Cronos: The New Dawn. Along with announcing a Fall 2025 release window and dropping new gameplay footage, the developer has now signed an agreement with Skybound Games to bring a physical version of Cronos: The New Dawn to PlayStation 5 later this year.
The agreement allows Skybound to distribute the PS5 physical version of Cronos: The New Dawn in North and South America.
This isn’t the first team-up between Bloober and Skybound. Bloober and Skybound’s Broken Mirror Games are currently working on a video game adaptation of Skybound’s I Hate This Place, due out later this year for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
In the press release, Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno stated that Skybound is a partner “with exceptional competences” when it comes to global game distribution. Amongst other titles, Skybound handled the physical release of Striking Distance Studios’ The Calisto Protocol. “We are glad that we can develop this partnership with Cronos: The New Dawn. This is our strongest original title, and we know that it will be another big step in the development of the Bloober Team Group.”
Cronos: The New Dawn is currently in development for the Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
