Demonschool fans won’t have to wait much longer, as the Necrosoft Games RPG will finally be launching on September 3 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.

A school-life tactics RPG with hints of Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, and Italian horror cinema, Demonschool casts players as college freshman Faye, who is descended from a demon-hunting family lineage, and now finds herself hunting demons that are haunting an island university. Survive a semester like no other by making friends, forging relationships, and battling gruesome monsters inspired by ‘60s and ‘70s Italian horror cinema and Japanese horror manga on a chess-like board where movement equals action.

Bring together an unstoppable battle party from hundreds of combinations among 15 playable characters, selecting between Faye’s unbridled kicks, Namako’s debuffs, Destin’s short-shorts-fueled knockbacks, and more to create the perfect group for each combat situation. Boost their distinct skills and abilities by scheduling them for training and accepting their side quests outside of class hours. Cultivate bonds between every pair to compose powerful combos in battle.

“At long last, Demonschool is finally coming out. It’s been a long road but we’re through certification and ready to go,” says Brandon Sheffield, Creative Director at Necrosoft Games. “We really put a lot of ourselves into this thing and now the future of Demonschool is in your hands. We truly hope you will enjoy it.”

During the Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition, publisher Wired Productions and developer LKA released a three-minute developer presentation for psychological horror game When Sirens Fall Silent, offering players a deeper look into the mystery, characters, and unsettling world of the upcoming psychological thriller.

Following two creative story-based cinematic reveals (which you can watch here and here) that introduced the game’s atmosphere, themes, and central mystery, LKA Founder and Director Luca Dalcò guides viewers further into the world of the forgotten people, revealing more of what awaits players as they uncover the truth behind a series of kidnappings and murders.

From the creators of Martha is Dead, When Sirens Fall Silent casts players as Mila, a policewoman in early 1990s Rome, Italy. Haunted by a past she’s desperate to escape, Mila is thrust into a high-profile case of kidnappings and murders. As the investigation unravels, you must not only save her from herself, but also from being consumed by the violence, mystery and confusion.

Featuring a branching, multi-layered narrative dialogue system, with a huge focus on verbal and emotional interaction, investigation and subsequent choices, players will be faced with difficult real-world topics. LKA aims to “pull no punches” with its story, but also hints at a few surprises along the way.

When Sirens Fall Silent is currently in development for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
