Horror Life Sim RPG ‘Neverway’ Adds Switch Version, 2026 Release Window [Trailer]

Previously announced for Steam, developer Coldblood and publisher Outersloth have added a Switch version for their upcoming nightmarish life sim RPG Neverway. Along with the Switch announcement, Coldblood revealed a 2026 release window.

Neverway is a blend of horror, life sim, and action RPG, centering on a girl named Fiona. After quitting her job, Fiona starts over on a farm and, somehow becomes the immortal herald of a dead god. As a result, you must now not only keep your life from falling apart, but must also search for Neverway, a nightmare reality that is slowly leaking into your own.

Throughout Neverway, you’ll meet up with multiple characters, each with their own unique routines and storylines. As your relationships with these characters develops, Fiona will unlock buffs and combat abilities that make her journey a little easier. However, you’ll need to deal with the immortal herald thing. Will you lie to them about your current situation, or will you tell them the truth?

Featuring top-down, fast-paced combat, in addition to the above-mentioned unlockable abilities, you can craft items to customize your playstyle. And since you’ll need to balance your life with your mission, you’ll also be tending to your farm, preparing meals, or just decorate your place. Time in the game progresses in three blocks (morning, afternoon, and evening), though you choose when to advance.

At the moment, the team is working through some ideas on how to get the game’s prologue ready for an eventual public demo, which they plan on revealing “when the timing is right.”

Developer Offworld Industries and Knights Peak are still at it with Starship Troopers: Extermination dropping Update 11 for the 16-player co-op FPS, which sports new content additions, performance and optimization improvements as well as bug fixes. Oh, and you can also now take showers.

Yes, the Field Shower is a new buildable structure available for every Build Zone. Once constructed, the Field Shower provides Troopers with access to battlefield sanitation facilities. A shower will extinguish a burning Trooper, as well as provide a method of Health restoration.

Completing the full duration Federation Standardized Shower will also provide Troopers with a combat performance boost. Troopers who have recently showered will move slightly faster, jump higher, climb better, shoot more accurately, and gain additional Morale XP.

The update also introduces a series of rotating Critical Dispatches designed to support the war effort and reward continued service to the Federation. Additionally, every deployment cycle, Troopers will receive a fresh set of Daily Dispatches generated by Fleet Command. Troopers can do one refresh of the missions list per 24-hours. Exterminatation currently has 47 Critical Dispatches in rotation, with more to be added. Successful completion of Daily Missions will grant additional combat experience and contribute toward long-term DSV Service Record milestones.

In addition, the DSV Service Record System has been added to permanently document a Trooper’s military career and recognize exceptional contributions to the war effort. Every confirmed combat action, operational deployment, battlefield specialization, and successful mission contributes toward a growing Service Record reviewed by Federal Command. As Service Record milestones are completed, Troopers will earn Career Experience, advancing their standing within the Mobile Infantry.
