New ‘Silent Hill f’ Story Trailer Unveils English Voice Cast Lead and Eerie Setting
Silent Hill f made an appearance at Gamescom Opening Night Live last night with a brand new story trailer that highlights the eerie setting and introduces the English voice cast for the first time.
The game will launch September 25 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
When Hinako Shimizu’s secluded town of Ebisugaoka is consumed by a sudden fog, her once-familiar home becomes a haunting nightmare. As the town falls silent and the fog thickens, Hinako must navigate the twisted paths of Ebisugaoka, solving complex puzzles and confronting grotesque monsters to survive.
The new story trailer below reveals Final Fantasy VII remake voice actor Suzie Yeung (Slitterhead, Chainsaw Man) as the English language voice behind Hinako. It also reveals more of the atmospheric setting and twisted monsters when Hinako wakes up in a mysterious temple.
Immerse yourself in Hinako’s world created by renowned author Ryukishi07, with music by longtime Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka and beautiful visuals in a gripping tale of doubt, regret, and inescapable choices.
Ryukishi07, known for his “Higurashi When They Cry” visual novel, described the concept of Silent Hill as a setting, one that has seen “many memories, stories, and much pain with a dark history.” However, he also said that Silent Hill is also about portraying a character’s struggles with the evil within themselves. “Of these two interpretations, if we consider the latter to be closer to the core of Silent Hill, then we can see how this game is very much a Silent Hill.”
One thing is for sure: this Silent Hill looks completely different from previous games.
While the latest trailer focuses on story and setting, Konami previously unveiled a gameplay trailer that details the new progression system and an emphasis on combat, though you can expect the series’ trademark puzzle-solving to remain a fixture.
Look for Silent Hill f to arrive in time for Halloween.

‘Little Nightmares III’ DLC “The Backstage” Releases June 12 [Trailer]
During the Future Games Show, Bandai Namco and Supermassive have announced the first DLC for Little Nightmares III in “The Backstage”. Featuring new puzzles and challenges, this additional content will take players to the darkest part of the Carnevale, where they’ll meet a new character and face new perils. You won’t have to wait long to get it, either, as Little Nightmares III – The Backstage DLC will release on June 12.
In this new adventure, Low will meet Dime, a new child who wears a torch hat, which turns out to be a very helpful tool for finding their way in what lies beneath the curtains of The Carnevale. The two children will have to face new threats and use their light to find a way to save Alone from the hands of the Puppeteer.
In the original game, players meet Low and Alone, who are trapped within the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing places. The two will have to work together to survive in a dangerous world full of delusions. As they scamper and shelter on their journey to escape the grasp of an even greater threat, their senses may also lead them astray into the shadows.
Little Nightmares III is currently available for PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
