‘Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition’ Adds Xbox Release Ahead of Launch [Trailer]

With a few weeks to go before Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition, Survios has not only released the launch trailer for the game, but also announced that Rogue Incursion will be headed to the Xbox Series on its September 30 launch, alongside the previously-announced PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Pre-orders are also now available on the Xbox Series.

Originally released as a VR game for the PlayStation VR 2 and SteamVR, in Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One, players step into the boots of rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks in the first chapter of an original two-part saga set between the Alien and Aliens films. While investigating a distress call on the remote planet Purdan, Zula uncovers a secret Gemini Exoplanet Solutions blacksite facility overrun by Xenomorphs. Aided by her synthetic companion, Davis 01, Zula must fight to survive against the ferocious and unpredictable threat of the Xenomorph incursion.

Rebuilt for console and PC with Xenomorphs that have evolved to be smarter, faster, more adaptive, and harder to both predict and kill, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition delivers a cinematic action-horror experience with stunning upgraded visuals, 60 FPS, 3D audio, DualSense controller integration and more.

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition launches on September 30 at $29.99, with the Digital Deluxe Edition available for $39.99. The latter includes Blue Camo armor andweapon skins, and “The Art of Alien: Rogue Incursion” digital in-game art book.

‘Silent Hill f’ Receives ‘Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake’ Cosmetic DLC [Trailer]

After Konami provided some Silent Hill f cosmetic DLC for Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake back in March, Koei Tecmo has returned the favour for Silent Hill f with a costume from the Crimson Butterfly Remake. Available now as part of a new update, players can also grab both games on discount on Steam in a bundle for the Steam Summer Sale.

Available to all Silent Hill f users who have updated to the 1.20 patch, the new new “Crimson Butterfly” cosmetic is inspired by Mio Amakura, the protagonist of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake. To use this costume, either select New Game from the main menu, or select Change Costume while resting at a Hokora in-game.

Silent Hill f is the first entry in the series set in Japan, where players take on the role of Shimizu Hinako, a high school student struggling under society’s pressure of expectations. Wandering through her hometown Ebisugaoka, a mysterious fog rolls in and covers the town, revealing a disturbing transformation. Hinako must face horrific creatures, uncover mysteries and confront traumatic decisions that will influence her fate.

Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is a remake of the 2003 PlayStation 2 and Xbox original, and centers around twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura. While visiting a forested valley in the Minakami region where they used to play as children. Mayu is led away by a crimson butterfly, with Mio giving chase and the two ending up in Minakami Village, a legendary location said to trap people who enter it. as they are trapped in a ghost-filled village cursed by a failed ritual which they are being forced to re-enact.

In addition to Steam, Silent Hill f is available on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series. Likewise, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is available for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and the Xbox Series.
