“Whispers in the Woods” DLC for ‘Pacific Drive’ Out Now; Xbox Series Release Also Now Available [Trailer]

Last month, Ironwood Studios revealed their brand-new DLC for Pacific Drive in “Whispers in the Woods”, but no release date. Well, that’s because the DLC is available now on Steam, the Epic Games Store and the PlayStation 5, along with a brand-new release of Pacific Drive on the Xbox Series and Xbox Game Pass.

Announced yesterday during the Galaxies Autumn Showcase (with a new launch trailer), Whispers in the Woods features a brand-new story within a strange and mysterious part of the Olympic Exclusion Zone, discovering new junction types, anomalies and experiencing the power of Artifacts with their bizarre and inexplicable effects.

Available at any point after the first few hours of the game, the DLC features a group of Anomaly-obsessed fanatics, who have marked the woods with strange symbols and effigies. The DLC also comes alongside a new patch to the base Pacific Drive game on all platforms, which includes several bug fixes and significant performance improvements.

And, for those players new to Pacific Drive, you can get the game as part of various bundles from today onward. The new Ritual Edition offers the complete package, which includes the original game, the Whispers in the Woods expansion, and four previously-released cosmetic packs that allow players to personalize their trusty station wagon with space, friendly dumpster, frozen, and anomalous themes. For players looking to pick up the DLC and base game, there’s the Whispers Edition, which includes the original game and the new expansion.

‘Little Nightmares III’ DLC “The Backstage” Releases June 12 [Trailer]

Published

During the Future Games Show, Bandai Namco and Supermassive have announced the first DLC for Little Nightmares III in “The Backstage”. Featuring new puzzles and challenges, this additional content will take players to the darkest part of the Carnevale, where they’ll meet a new character and face new perils. You won’t have to wait long to get it, either, as Little Nightmares III – The Backstage DLC will release on June 12.

In this new adventure, Low will meet Dime, a new child who wears a torch hat, which turns out to be a very helpful tool for finding their way in what lies beneath the curtains of The Carnevale. The two children will have to face new threats and use their light to find a way to save Alone from the hands of the Puppeteer.

In the original game, players meet Low and Alone, who are trapped within the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing places. The two will have to work together to survive in a dangerous world full of delusions. As they scamper and shelter on their journey to escape the grasp of an even greater threat, their senses may also lead them astray into the shadows.

Little Nightmares III is currently available for PC via SteamXbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
